CAKE

2 cups Plain Flour
2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Wesson Oil
3 tbsp Cocoa
1 cup Coke
1/2 cup Buttermilk
1 tsp Soda
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Small Marshmallows

ICING

1 cup Butter
6 tbsp Coke
3 tbsp Cocoa
1 box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup nuts

Pre-heat oven to 350º

CAKE

Sift together flour and sugar. Set aside.

Mix butter, oil, cocoa and coke in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add to dry ingredients and mix u.ntil combined

Add to above: buttermilk, soda, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows. Mix until combined.

Bake in a long pan for 45 minutes at 350º.

ICING (do not start icing until the cake is done)

Bring to a boil butter, coke and cocoa. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Pour over cake while hot.

This was a cake Granny Mabel used to likr to take to church socials. It never failed to impress. She was always so happy when people liked her cooking.
