Grandma’s Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

51/2 to 6 Cups Flour
2 packages of Yeast
1/2 Cup Sugar
11/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Butter
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Butter - melted

Filling
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup chopped nuts - Optional
11/2 tsp Cinnamon

GLAZE
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
3 TBSP Butter - melted
1/2 tsp Maple Flavor
3-4 TBSP hot coffee

Directions:
Directions:
combine 2 Cups flour, yeast, 1/2 Cup sugar and salt, mix well.

Heat milk, water and butter until very warm, butter does not need to melt.

Add to flour and then eggs-blend and beat 3 minutes on medium speed.

By hand, gradually stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface 5-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl,turn, cover and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).

Combine filling

Punch down dough and divide into 2.
On floured surface roll out or pat 1/2 to a 12x9 square.

Brush each part with 1/2 of melted butter. Sprinkle 1/2 of filling over. Cut into 12s and put in a 13x9 inch pan.

Cover, let rise until almost double (about 30 minutes)

Bake and drizzle with glaze over hot rolls.
