1 tube sugar cookie dough
1 - 8 oz. block cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. crushed walnuts
3 gala apples (or preferred type)
1/3 c. sugar
caramel sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Slice and bake cookies or prepare sugar cookies as desired. Dice apples and set aside. Spray with lemon juice to prevent browning. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cooled cookies. Sprinkle on apples. Drizzle caramel & sprinkle with nuts. This recipe can also be made into a fruit "pizza" by rolling out cookie dough onto an oiled pizza pan before baking. Fruit may also be substituted depending on the chef's preference. Apples, bananas, grapes and other nuts, etc. Enjoy!
