1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 cups fruit cocktail, drained
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 300º, Mix all the ingredients together.
Pour into a greased 8x12" pan.
Combine brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle over the top.
Bake 1 1/2 hours. Grandma always served it with a dollop of Cool Whip but it is good with caramel sauce too.
