1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
Add shortening, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well. Add eggs baking soda, salt, vanilla, and flour. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased and floured cookie pan or spread out on cookie sheet. Bake and cut into squares.

**Can add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans or 1/2 cup peanut butter
