1 lb/ 453g ground beef (or other ground meat)
1 green pepper - chopped
1 onion - chopped
2- 15oz/ 221ml cans kidney beans - drained and rinsed
1 bottle chili sauce (Heinz is the best)
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
2/3 c water
*I add a clove of garlic (minced) as well

Serves 4
Brown ground meat, along with onion (and garlic).
Add remaining ingredients.
At med-high heat bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low-medium.
Simmer 20-30 mins.
