For a 14-16 lb. turkey
2 14 oz. Pepperidge Farm packages shredded bread crumbs (blue packaging)
6 C. torn bread cubes without crust- let sit for a day so they dry out
4 onions, chopped
2 C. celery chopped
1 T. salt
1/4-1/2 black pepper
2 tsp. dried sage to taste or fresh sage, finely chopped
2 sticks butter
2 1/2 C. boilig water

Directions:

Melt butter in large dutch oven or pot.
Saute onions and celery until soft.
Add salt, pepper and sage.
Mix stuffing mix and bread cubes with hot water.
Combine with onion/celery mixture.
Add more sage and salt to taste.
