1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups apples, chopped
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable cooking oil

1 to 1 1/2 boxes confectioner’s sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
1/3 cup hot water

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients. Add apples, blend well. Spoon into hot oil. Fry until golden brown and outside is crispy. Roll in sugar and cinnamon or thinly glaze

For glaze: combine all ingredients until smooth and drizzle over fritters.
