2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. sugar
6 slightly beaten egg yolks
¾ c. butter or oleo
2 tsp. vanilla
2½ c. coconut
2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks (slightly beaten), butter (or oleo), and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add coconut and chopped pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread. Beat occasionally.
