2¼ cups flour
¾ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup Crisco
½ cup butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven 375º

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter and Crisco. Add egg and enough water to make ¼ cup). Add vanilla.

Bake 10-12 minutes
