MEATBALLS

2 lbs ground beef
1 c bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 egg (beaten)
2 T oil

SAUCE

1 large can crushed tomatoes (30 ozs)
2 small cans diced stewed tomatoes
2 6 oz cans tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 cayenne pepper
2 tsp dried minced onion
2 T dried green pepper flakes (hard to find, usually just leave out)
1/4 c dried parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together first 7 ingredients. Mix well and shape into balls. Brown in oil, turning to get all sides brown.

Add together rest of ingredients into a large 5qt pan and stir to mix. Add meatballs to sauce mixture as they are browned. Simmer on low 1 hour covered and 1 hour uncovered. Check often and stir to keep bottom from burning.

Serve over cooked spaghetti topped with Parmesan cheese.
