Directions:Preheat the oven to 325º. Grease a 9x13-in pan. In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in the melted chocolate. Whisk in the flour until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the batter into the pan. Bake 25-35 minutes. Remove from oven when a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
For the cookie dough: In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Mix in the milk and vanilla. Mix in the flour just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the cookie dough over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate until the dough is firm. Use a sharp knife to cut the brownies. You can add a chocolate drizzle on top by melting ½ cup chocolate chips with 1 tsp of shortening in the microwave; stir until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate on top; sprinkle additional chocolate chips. |
