1 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. ground almonds
1 2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, granulated sugar and ground nuts. Stir together well. Mix in flour and salt. Work in well. Chill dough. Mix powdered sugar and cinnamon. Roll chilled dough pencil thick. Cut in 2 1/2 inch thick pieces and form into crescents on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325º 14 - 16 minutes, until set but not brown. Cool on the baking pan. Dip slightly warm cookies in powered sugar mixture. Place on wax paper to finish cooling.
