1 package of yeast
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 teaspoon salt
5 to 5-1/2 cups flour

1. Add yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar to 1/8 cup of warm water (110º F)
2. Let yeast dissolve and will rise slightly (5-10 minutes)
3. Add 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup milk
4. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 3 whipped eggs
5. Add half of flour and salt, knead, then add rest and knead until dough bounces back when pressed.
6. Let rise 6 hours then roll out into 2 large circles, and cut into triangles, roll up and place on cooking sheet. Let rise 6 more hours and then bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

These were a Loosle family favorite made by Grandpa Loosle's mother, Ella Loosle. Grandma Maria Loosle learned to make them and hers were delicious as well.
