¼ cup warm water
1 pkg dry yeast
1 cup cottage cheese, heated to luke warm
2 tbsps sugar
1 tbsp dry minced onion
1 egg
1 tbsp butter-softened
2-2½ cups flour
2 tsp dill seed
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in water. Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture in a large mixing bowl. Add flour to form soft dough. , beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Pinch/ stir down.

Turn out on flowered surface and form into a round ball. Place on a well buttered 8 inch round pie plate or casserole dish. Rise in a warm place until double in size, about 40 minutes. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.

it is easy to pinch off small amounts of dough to make into individual rolls.
