2 large sweet onions (sliced and separated in rings)
2 T. butter or margarine
2 c. (8 oz) shredded swiss cheese
1 can (10 1/2 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. pepper
6-8 slices of French bread (buttered on both sides)

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, cook onion rings in butter on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until tender. Arrange over bottom of 9" x 13" baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Blend soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper. Pour over cheese and onions and mix slightly. Arrange buttered bread slices over top. Bake uncovered at 350º for 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
