2 oz. chocolate
½ cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup all purpose flour

1½ sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp half/half
½ tsp peppermint extract
2 oz. chocolate chips

BROWNIES:
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Beat together eggs and sugar. Add chocolate mixture and flour. Beat well. Pour into a 9 X 9 greased pan. Bake at 350º
for 25 minutes. Cool.

MINT CREAM:
Soften butter. Mix powdered sugar, half and half, peppermint extract with butter until spreading consistency. Frost brownies.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
Melt chocolate chips and butter together over very low heat. Do not get too hot. If not liquid enough to drizzle, add more butter. Drizzle over brownies with mint cream. Put in refrigerator to cool. Cut into small squares.

This recipe is for a 9 x 9 pan. I always double the recipe and put into a 9 x 13 inch greased class pan. these are delicious and worth the time. they are a perfect dessert ln a buffet table!
