2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Sugar
½ tsp. Salt
2 Sticks Margarine
1 Cup Water
3 T. Cocoa
2 Eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. Baking Soda
½ Cup Butter milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Cinnamon (If desired)

Directions:
Sift flour, measure re-sift with sugar and salt.
In saucepan heat margarine, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over flour and sugar mixture.
In another bowl put eggs, baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla.
Add to the above mixture, and mix well.
Bake in a greased and floured cookie sheet pan that measures 15½ X 10½ X 1inch .
Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
Start icing the last 5 minutes cake is baking.

Chocolate Frosting:
1 Stick of Margarine
3T. Cocoa
6 T. Milk
1 box confectioners sugar. (1 pound)
½ Chopped Nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix margarine, cocoa, and milk in saucepan. Heat over low heat, do not boil. Remove from heat, add confectioners sugar, nuts and vanilla mixing well. Spread over cake as soon as cake is out of oven.

You can make butter milk by adding a little vinegar to regular milk.
