Cookie Dough
1 cup butter
1½ cups confectioner sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2½ cups flour

Mix ins
~1 oz. pre-melted chocolate
¼ cup chopped nuts (pistachio or almond...)
green food coloring
1 tsp. rum extract
Red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
To make Dough: Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Add flour and mix well.

Divide dough into 3 equal parts:

  • Into one part, mix in the melted chocolate.
  • Into the second part, mix in the nuts and about 6 drops of green food coloring.
  • Into the third part, mix in the rum extract and about 6 drops of red food coloring.
Roll out the chocolate dough into a rectangle 9"x5"x3".

Roll out the green dough and place it on top of the chocolate dough.

Finally roll out the red dough and place in on top of the green dough.

Refrigerate the dough overnight.

Pre-heat oven to 350º.

Cut dough crosswise into ¼" slices; cut each slice into half. Place about 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake cookies until set, about 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
