Ingredients:  
1/2 pound butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs

Combine mix with blender

4 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 ounce bottle of lemon extract

(Do not blend with a blender)
Blend gradually flour mixture with eggs, sugar and butter mixture. When 1/2 flour is used add lemon extract. Blend remaining flour and baking powder.

Refrigerate over night.

After mixture has sat over night roll out dough and press cookie tins for various shapes.

Place on cookie sheet.

Bake 325 6-8 minutes. (I’m guessing so be careful)

Once they are cook add colored sugar to decorate for Christmas cookies.

I remember making these Christmas cookies every year with my grandma. We would put the cookies in a pillow case and then seal it in a Charles Potato Chip can. Memories 😊
