1 cup butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
⅔ cup sugar
2 cups flour
Bit of salt
Green food coloring (optional)
Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese until well blended. Add in sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Add flour and salt to the cream cheese mixture in 3 parts. Beat until well blended. Add food coloring if desired.

Shape dough into a log and chill.

Press dough from cookie press fitted with a Christmas tree plate onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2" apart.

Sprinkle with sprinkles or colored sugars if desired.

Bake at 400º for 8-10 min.

Cool on racks.

DO NOT use a silicone mats - the cookies won't stick.

You may need to rechill dough between batches.
