Ingredients:  
1 C all purpose flour
¼ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ C butter
¾ C brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 C pecans
1 lb dates
¼-½ C each of candied cherries & candied pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge fruit & nuts in ¼ C of the flour. ( the rest goes into the batter). Cream butter, add sugar & egg.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Do not let them get too brown.
