¾ c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
½ c white sugar
¼ c. water
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp soda
½ tsp cloves
1 cup raisins
1 c chopped nuts
3 cups quick cook oatmeal

Drop by teaspoonfuls. Bake 350° 12-15 min. Makes about 5 dozen.
