¾ cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and molasses. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Roll into small balls (about 1-inch diameter), dip in sugar, roll until covered. Bake 350º for 10 to 12 min.
