1 cup oleo
1 cup Crisco
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1½ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1½ tsp. cream of tartar
4½ cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 º F
Cream oleo, Crisco and sugars
Add eggs, and vanilla
Mix well
Add baking soda, salt and cream of tartar
Mix well
Gradually mix in flour
Dough should be very soft but not sticky
Chill
Roll into walnut sized balls
Flatten slightly with a butter sugared glass
Bake 8 to 10 minutes
