pinch salt
2 egg whites
7 Tbsp. cold water
just a tiny bit of Karo Syrup

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together in a double boiler. Use electric beaters and whip until stiff. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Spread on Cake.

This is Grandma Morrell's favorite icing to cover her homemade chocolate cake.---especially on Birthdays!! She always covered the top with coconut.
