Cake Batter:
1/2 Cup shortening or margarine
3/4 Cup sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla
3 Eggs
2 Cups of flour
1 Tsp. baking powder
1 Tsp. baking soda
1/2 Pint sour cream (= 1 cup)

Filling:
6 Tbsp. margarine or butter softened
1 Cup packed brown sugar
2 Tsp. cinnamon
1 Cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Cream the shortening, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly.
Add eggs; beat well.
Mix in dry ingredients and beat.
Spread some of the batter in 10" bundt pan (or 9x13 rectangle pan)
Mix the filling in a separate bowl, and put a portion of it on top of the batter.
Then another layer of batter on top of that and top with filling. Save a small amount of batter to finish the layers.

Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. (If in a 9x13 pan, only bake 35 to 40 minutes.)
