A Hartung family favorite!


Ingredients:

DRESSING:

½ c. oil (vegetable or canola)
¼ c. sugar
3 T. distilled white vinegar
flavor packet from the ramen soup mix
⅛ t. salt


SALAD:

16 oz. shredded cabbage or cole slaw mix
1 c. slivered almonds
1 c. sunflower seeds, shelled
4 green onions, chopped
3 oz. pkg ramen noodle soup (we prefer it with chicken ramen)

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients and whisk to combine.

In a large bowl, combine all the salad ingredients EXCEPT the ramen noodles.

30 minutes before serving the salad, break up the ramen noodles and add them to the salad. Pour the dressing over the salad, stir to combine, and refrigerate until serving.

Gently stir the salad again and serve with a slotted spoon.
