Ingredients:  
•1 cup butter flavored shortening
•1 cup white sugar
•½ cup light brown sugar
•2 cups flour
•1 tsp baking soda
•1 tsp salt
•2 large eggs
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•12 oz pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Cream shortening and sugars together until well blended; add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
3.In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to shortening mixture and blend well.
4.Fold in chocolate chips.
5.Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 7-9 minutes.
6.Remove from oven and lightly tap the pan on your countertop to “settle” your cookies. Let cool on wire rack.
