375º 10-12 minutes

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups oatmeal, uncooked
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup boiling water
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Grease baking sheets or cover with parchment paper.

Place raisins in bowl and cover with boiling water and set aside.

Combine butter, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large mixing bowl and beat until well mixed. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and mix well. Add to wet mixture at slow speed until just blended. Drain raisins and stir in with nuts.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly brown. remove from over and let cook 2 minutes. Place cookies on cooling racks. Store in tight container for 2-3 days.
