1 large sweet onion
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1/4 cups corn starch
Cayenne pepper to taste
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pour buttermilk into medium bowl.
Mix flour, corn starch, cayenne pepper and black pepper into another large bowl.
Slice onion into medium thick slices.
Put sliced onion into buttermilk, then put in flour mixture to coat well.
Shake of excess flour.
Drop into deep fryer for about 3 minutes.
