½ cup crisco shortening
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cocoa
½ cup boiling water
1 cup cold coffee
Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each. Add vanilla.

Sift together: flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Mix together cocoa and boiling water.

Add dry ingredients to the creamy mixture alternating dry ingredients and coffee. Then add cocoa mixture which is lukewarm.

Mix and pour into prepared pans (greased and floured).
