1 baked 10 inch pie shell
1 quart whole fresh hulled strawberries
Whipping cream

Glaze:
1 cup water
¾ cup sugar
3 Tbs cornstarch
3 Tbs strawberry jello (powdered)
2 Tbs lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and drain berries well. If berries are large, cut in half. Cook water, sugar, cornstarch until mixture is thick and glossy, stirring constantly. Lower heat and simmer about 5 minutes. When mixture is clear, add strawberry Jello and lemon juice. Stir until completely blended. Let glaze cool. Add strawberries to glaze, stir very gently and pour into baked pie shell. Chill several hours. Top with a dab of whipped cream.
