Ingredients:  
1 1/2 c. milk
bring to a boil and pour over 1/3 c. shortening
4 T sugar
2 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. cinnamon

Cool until lukewarm and combine with 3 3/4 c. sifted flour. Add 2 eggs-well beaten, 2 pkg. yeast softened in 2 T. warm water. Let raise in warm place until double in bulk. Roll out and cut with doughnut cutter., Raise about 30 minutes-

Fry in hot , deep fat on both sides --drain on absorbent paper and roll in mixture of cinnamon and sugar.Enjoy!
