1/2 lb. Butter (2 squares) soften or melt (not over melt)
3/4 c. plus 1 T. sugar (don't understand the - 1 T.- part. But, that's the recipe)
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 t. vanilla
1/4 t. lemon juice
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. oats
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
choc. chips


...Bake 300 for 20 to 23 mins. Cool on baking sheet for 1 hour.

One time I forgot to change the oven to 300. So it ended up cooking at 350. They got done faster and I thought I had ruined them. Actually like this way better now. Now I cook them at 350 for about 14 mins. Let cool for a few minutes and then put on cooling rack. Delicious this way too !!
