1 c. Vinegar
1 c. Water
1/4 c. Sugar
2 large Sweet Onions, sliced
Mayonnaise
Celery Seed
Salt & Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the vinegar, water and sugar. Add in the sliced onions. Marinate overnight or all day; drain. Add mayonnaise, celery seed and salt/pepper; mix until the onions are covered.

This was a famous recipe from Bettie Warner, it was a favorite during summer parties. It has moved on to be a McCabe family favorite and a request from Uncle Dave during summer get togethers.
