1 c. oleo, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt


Fudge Frosting:

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter

Grease 13x9 baking pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat first three ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in next two ingredients until blended; stir in boiling water until smooth. Mix dry ingredients into butter mixture. Stir until smooth and well blended; batter will be thin. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until top springs back when lightly pressed. Cool on wire rack in pan.

Fudge Frosting: Combine ingredients and bring to full boil. Boil one minute. Beat immediately until spreading consistency. Cool completely.
