1/2 c. shortening, softened
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar *OR* 1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1&1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp bakig bowder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together shortening, peanut butter, sugar(s) & egg
2. In a separate bowl, mix together all dry ingredients
3. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients
4. Chill dough
5. Preheat oven to 375
6. Roll dough into balls the size of large walnuts & place 3" apart on lightly greased baking sheet
7. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour in a criss-cross pattern
8. Bake for 10-12 min
