1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
90 grams (3/4 cup) flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, soda and salt. Set aside
Beat together butter and sugars
Add egg and vanilla
Add flour mixture
Add oat
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 minutes
Place small amount topping on each cookie. Press in lightly
Bake additional 5 - 6 minutes.

1/2 cup butter
2 tsp corn syrup
1/4 tsp almond extract
2/3 cup slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, butter and corn syrup to boil. Stir until sugar dissolved.
Remove from heat and add almond extract and almonds.
