½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup butter or margarine, softened
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 egg white
½ cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
½ teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, or mix with a spoon. Beat in vanilla and egg white.
3. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
4. Bake 8-9 minutes or until set (do not overbake). Cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
