½ cup butter
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:

Beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add ½ cup granulated sugar and brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into 1” balls. Roll in remaining granulated sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 minutes or until edges are firm. Immediately press a chocolate kiss on top of each cookie. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool.
