2-3 large cans diced or whole tomatoes
Water
16 ounces elbow macaroni
2 chunks salt pork, diced and fried, reserve drippings
Fresh bread
Butter
Peanut Butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a Dutch oven, add tomatoes and equal cans of water to a low boil. If using whole tomatoes, crush them with your hands as you pour them out of the can. Add macaroni to boiling tomatoes. Stir frequently to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan. When macaroni is al dente, add fried salt pork pieces and all drippings to the Dutch oven. Remove from heat and serve with fresh butter and peanut butter sandwiches.
