Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 lbs. chicken wings
1 cup sugar
1 cup soy sauce
1⅓ tsp. garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
If wings are whole, cut in two at joints & cut off tips (I usually leave them whole, but they marinate better if not). Put in large bowl, cover with water, generously salt the water, & soak for 1 hour. Drain. Put in large 13x9 pan and cover with sauce made from sugar, soy sauce, & garlic salt. Cover & refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º for 1 - 1¼ hours uncovered.

Personal Notes:
Grammy got this recipe when she worked for a little while at a restaurant called The Steak Pit when I was a very little girl. She usually added a good jigger of gin to the sauce as well. You were never too crazy about these, but we've always enjoyed them.
