½ c. shortening
1 ½ c. sugar
½ c. sour milk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
1 t lemon extract
½ c nuts
2 c all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
¼ t salt

  • Cream fat and sugar.

  • Add remaining ingredients and beat 2 min.

  • Place in shallow pan fitted with wax paper.

  • Bake for 30 min in mod slow oven.
