1 c raisins
1 c water
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 c sugar
1 3/4 c sifted flour
1/2 t sodaa
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t cloves
1/2 t all spice
1/2 chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Bring raisins and water to boil in large sauce pan remove from heat.
Add butter stirring until melted.
Cool slightly
Whisk together egg and sugar and add to above
Sift together the remaining ingredients then add to mixture
Add nuts

drop cookies on greased cookie sheet

350 about 20 minutes
