10 cups sliced onions
4 T olive oil
2 T butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 cups beef stock
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T flour
1/2 tsp ground black pepper or to taste
Baguette cut in 1” slices
Tuyere cheese or cheese of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté sliced onion in olive oil stirring occasionally for 15 minutes on medium heat

Increase heat to medium high, add butter and cook until medium brown
About 15 minutes

Add garlic and cook 3 minutes

Add stock, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes

Heat oven 450 degrees

Brush bread slices with olive oil and put on cookie sheet. Toast in oven.

Remove from oven turn over bread slices and top bread with cheese.

At serving time put bread back in oven to melt cheese

Ladle soup into individual serving bowls and top with toast.
