2 cups sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp oil flavoring
1/2 tsp food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup an water in heavy metal pan; boil to hard crack stage. Remove from heat; add flavoring and coloring. Pour onto buttered tray; cut with scissors as soon as possible.

Variations:
Use 3/4 cup teaspoon oil of cloves with orange food coloring; oil of wintergreen with green food coloring; oil of cinnamon with red food coloring; oil of spearmint with blue or yellow food coloring.
