4 ripe bananas mashed up
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups flour
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mash up the bananas with a hand mixer so there are no lumps. Add in the melted butter and mix. Then, mix in the sugar, egg and vanilla. Sprinkle in the baking soda, baking powder and the salt into this mixture. Then, add flour and mix together. Pour into a greased 5 x 9 in. loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for about one hour. Test with a toothpick in the middle of the loaf.

Tip: I usually use two 4 x 8 in. pans or three or four 3 x 6 in. pans. Be sure you grease the pans. If using a smaller pan, the baking time will be reduced. Check the bread with a toothpick after 45 min.. This is a moist and yummy bread.
