˝ lb. - bacon, diced
1 large - onion
2 - carrots, cut small
2 - potatoes, cut small
3 stalks - celery, cut small
1 bag - lentils, washed
1 (15 oz.) can - tomatoes
6 c. - water
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions, and bacon. Fill soup pot with 6 cups water. Add remaining ingredients simmer 4 hours or more.
