1½ c. - raisins
1 c. - water
2 tsp. - cinnamon
½ tsp. - nutmeg
1 c. - shortening
½ tsp. - ground cloves
1½ c. - brown sugar
1½ tsp. - baking soda
2 - eggs
1 tsp. - salt
3½ c. - flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put raisins in water and boil until almost dry. Mix raisins with the rest of the ingredients. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350º until light brown.
